Probably best to leave it standard then if you "I can't be bothered with lying under the car all day for a couple of extra horses" ..... Cause they are naturally asperated motors they need serious mods head work, cams, intake , exhaust, ecu etc to get any notcialbe increase in power I'd imagine the m 3.2 motors to be allready put together with set running at their best performance in mind. I could suggest your put a pod filter on haha but the factory air box is probably better (know wat I mean). All I can think of for a DIY mod for your car would be free the exhaust up. 2 1/2" right through from the fexi join
-
Most notciable mod's for mine were the exhaust (custom extractors) into 2 1/2" (maybe shoulda gone with 2 1/4" ) Custom intake, lightened flywheel ( unsure how much you can take off yours as it's the dual mass flywheel in e36, and lsd. I have a chip to put in it but I think that they run pretty good with stock ecu setting if everything else to sweet. Other than that you'll have to start looking at aftermarket ecu (map tuning) aftermarket intake cam, get the head port and polished etc. Running the stock ecu holds you back if you want more noticable power as it needs all it's sensors to work and these sensors are restrictive

This is why it's hard to take the cops seriously. They are by no means consistant in their policing of the laws. One cop says no the other says yes???? WTF?
-
