    CCNA (cisco course)

planning on sitting for the exam sometime this year as well.. no point forking out big money to sit in a classroom to do the paper..just buy the book and practice the practice exams...
  6. sounds like full of crap check out http://www.bmwe34.net/ if u haven't already..
  7. if u pull off the cover off the M50, u'd just see the ignition coils and wiring..not very pretty..
  8. another ill-informed owner? same with ppl that tell you i've got an M3 or M5 kit which only means it has some sort of kit or Mtech versions...

    320 Fuel Ecomony

i used to get real sh*t mileage on my e36 325i and i was using 98 PULP..at around 14l/100kms with mostly city/highway driving...my dad's e39 530i gets 11l/100ks!!! lets not stray away from the main topic though...but yeah i would think a 6 cyclinder e30 is gng to consume more fuel than a 4 potter.. i can vouch for that, having an e30 318iS thats super good on fuel and another e30 with an M50 2.5 engine in it..prolly because we drive the sh*t out of it all the time..hahha..

mileage? service history? sunroof? and the best part, what are you looking for it?
  12. id go with the HR. it provides a nice drop and a not so stiff ride as compared to Kings. Also HR has been proven to work well with Bilsteins.

    E30 Motosport Springs

i dont think they're as low as King lows..kings are a lot lower and firmer ride.. the mtech springs provides just a minimal drop to standard springs
  14. whats wrong with your M50 mate? i've had heaps of sh*t changed on mine to get it running perfectly.. ECU TCM Ignition coils
  15. there are 2 types of M50 in the e34, one is the normal M50 and the other is the M50 TU variant which has the vanos. post 94 models all came with vanos. they're fanstastic engines that can pile on the miles. the only problem with them, esp the vanos units, is the vanos itself, it can fail over time. but you can get a vanos repair kit, rather than replacing the whole engine. the car will still work, just dont have the low end torque. how do u tell if it aint working? get a long screw driver & placed it on the vanos itself & put your year on the other end & see if you hear a grinding/slight thumping noise.
  16. true..but i've been for 2 driver trainings, one with BMW and their 325i's and the other with the bmwclub qld. both had skid pad controls. at least they 'try' and teach you how to control your car in a greasy situation and not be so hesitant to jammed on the brakes & have quick evasive steering manuervers..which we all know what it could lead to..

    My e36 - pics finally

the 92's didn't have vanos & very poor interior build quality, especially the glovebox and the top of the drivers kick panel! piece of crap! my consumption from the trip computer was around 14/100, mostly city driving..

    My e36 - pics finally

there was no such thing as double vanos on all the e36 models..only on the m54s i 'think'..
  19. i did one too & i think its so worth it!! it really does teaches you how to control your car better in difficult situations... i especially tell ppl to go for it esp if they're not used to driving rwd cars... maybe if most ppl have done it, they wouldn't end up crashing into gutters or traffic lights in the wet! n ricer boys need to learn how to put their seats up to see and control their car better instead of sleeping down on their seats! idiots! lol!

    My e36 - pics finally

so did u have a look at it? it seems to be up for sale once again..looks the goods..wouldn't mind having a look when i get there too..
  25. if you guys follow the service interval on your beemers (e36/e46/e39) this is usually done during inspt 2. some ppl replace them, some just leave them without. i replaced mine in my e36 325i & it was on top of the transmission tunnel..pulled it out and spent another 5mins pulling out the other gunk of it..flies etc etc.. it'll also help to get your airconditioning service, renew your gas, top up the oil & check to see if there are any leaks as summer is here!
