they are all one piece because its easier to make...therefore you cant bolt them on.. You have to glue the bumper cover onto your actual bumper with epoxy and hope you come out of a steep driveway and break the front lip off. even tho.. i still want sum!!! (i have an idea how to mount the with bolts) heheh 300 for front bumper and sideskirts??????

Bearings avarage at around $150 +/- for the mainbearings but the litle needle rollers in the ruber housing i have no idea taking the gearbox out is hard but spliting it is just as hard. Time depends on how efficiently you can work and if you have all the right tools. But it sounds to me its not bearings that are screwd. you will only know once its apart good luck :thumb:

If you tighten your pressure plate without the hole of the friction plate being EXACTLY in the midle and in line with the pilot bearing, the input shaft of the gearbox will never go in and youl be stuck under the car wigling the gearbox around for days and it wont go on. thats why you need an alingment tool to get it exactly center. it should be an exact replica of the output shaft.

I made an alignment tool for the friction plate on the lathe you should do the same otherwise you will never put the gearbox back in

I done my one a coupala weeks ago and I replaced the nuts and I was told 120N on each bolt (my one has 8) I dont know but I dont think the bolts need replacing coz theyr prety hight tensile 12.? You should also check your flywheel bolts Ring Team Mc Millian theyl tell you for sure. Dont ring Jerry Clayton though... they suck big balls

Does any one know if the headlights on an E36 are interchangable between a 2 door coupe and a 4door sedan? as far as I know the only difference is the corner light

Dose anyone know of someone that might have manual gearbox parts for a 1.8 or 1.6L E36? (or comp gbox) Ive already tried Ray and Earnst at Bavarian motors in Glenfield but no luck. Anyone know of someone overseas that sells cheap new parts? or someone here that has hookups? any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!!

If you find a chip for the 318 let me know coz I havent found one yet. but as far as I know the chips dont do jack, They are only a minimal power increase and it just lets your engine rev out further

Nah not from Otara, just a 17yo student that works at mcdonalds partime, rest of my time spent studying.Money doesnt exactly grow on trees and whatever little money I do make I spend on keeping my car runing eg: just spent $800 on my gearbox so I at least have wheels under my ass. and I aint from remuera either so I dont have rich parents I can "borrow" money off. but thanks alot ae
