such as? I bought my car for the car... what non physical features does it have? I wasnt aware of any...
-
Or it could have quite the opposite effect - people could see you flashing your BMW credit card in your BMW wallet and think "look at that yuppy/tosser in his BMW jacket flashing a BMW wallet and credit card..."The car - definitly, a key ring? sure, why not, but personally i feel getting everything with a BMW logo on it is just going too far - you know, you see people who will only wear clothes with a popular brand label and nothing else - it gets humourous... and I feel that getting all the BMW gear is going in that direction... I bought my car because I fell in love with it, not because of the image or the (false) perception of wealth...

I hate it when I dont hear back from a business regarding customer enquiries, I got a couple of those when looking for the bodykit Im buying. As has been said - its their loss, but at the same time its frustraiting when they have the exact part you are looking for and they dont bother... You cant tell me that 3 emails dont get thru when sent at different times...I know this is a bit off the original topic, but Dennis, how did you debaffle your intake? I am rather interested...

??? did he get back on the horse or did the horse get back on him....
-
I do like it, but as dave said.... the back - Im not a fan of the way the Bootlid goes over the tail lights like that - it just looks a bit odd, otherwise :thumb: Id definitly have one... (when the price comes down A LOT or I am making millions of dollars...

give them to me man, I could put them to really good use....
-
man, thats sick... But it is quite funny, so maybe we could have a thread or sub section - aptly titled *NWS* The flirtations of *sic and solutio.... but i definitly think it needs the *NWS* disclaimer....
-
That is some seriously primo stuff man, where do you finds these things man?

Good call... Fair points made there, I know I am guilty of adding sh*t to the whole mess, but I will try to refrian... (as I somehow managed to after carls questions in the "got fat" thread.... Some of the answers i came up with for them....) With the editing of the posts... Ok, sure it can be funny, but is this not the same as someone coming in and calling someone gay or the "Mindless banter" (good way of putting it Grant) that was refered to earlier? If someone posts somthing that is a bit off, then sure delete it or delete the part that is offensive or off, but modifiying it to make it look like someone has actually written it themselves (like whoever it was that changed my profile....), I think is not leading by example... Dont get me wrong, I think the Moderators/admin do a great job, but I have noticed (as Im sure a good many others have too) that things are starting to head downhill again - I actually went to start a topic along these lines a few nights ago, principally owning up to posting some crap, but then going on to say that its on the long slippery slope to crap..... I think that if everyone were to treat this forum as the valuable resource that it is, it could be a beautiful thing (again)... I know that I am proud to say that Im part of an online group of BMW enthusiasts (even if they dont all drive BMWs, we know they all love them.... eh Sic!!!) after all, thats why we're all here isnt it? Now how bout we all have a  and get back to what we love, which is  :drugs: :pimp: :mosh: and BMWs (and everything else on wheels - look at my DX, its got a face not even its owner could love!!! but its a great wee car!!) There, said my bit, got a bit wavey in the middle, but I think if you read it thru a couple of times you can see what Im saying.... Cheers guys - awsome job and stuff :mosh: Oh, and you heard it here first. A grown man using this word. Class sam, pure class!!!

ok, I think thats taking things a little too far... sure they are great cars, but I think the amount of merchandise that can be obtained gives the owners that "wank factor"... Im afraid I agree with Damo on this one... There is too much wanky sh*t that BMW owners seem 2 insist upon getting.... just too wanky and "look at me" for my tastes a...

An elderly Irishman lay dying in his bed. While suffering the agonies of impending death, he suddenly smelled the aroma of his favourite cheese scones wafting up the stairs. He gathered his remaining strength, and lifted himself from the bed. Leaning against the wall, he slowly made his way out of the bedroom, and with even greater effort, gripping the railing with both hands,he crawled downstairs. With laboured breath, he leaned against the door frame, gazing into the kitchen. Were it not for death's agony, he would have thought himself already in heaven, for here, spread out upon waxed paper on the kitchen table were dozens of his favourite cheese scones. Was it heaven? Or was it one final act of heroic love from his devoted Irish wife of sixty years, seeing to it that he left this world a happy man? Mustering one great final effort, he threw himself towards the table, landing on his knees in a rumpled posture. His parched lips parted, he could almost taste the cheese scone before it was in his mouth, seemingly bringing him back to life. The aged and withered hand trembled on its way to the nearest scone at the edge of the table, when his hand was suddenly smacked with a spatula by his wife. . . . . . . . . . . . . "F*ck off !! " she said, "they're for the funeral !!"

yeah very interesting site - ill read it in more detail when i get a chance.Hahaha just as well my diesel wagon has a dickey odometer that doenst seem to ever go beyond the 307741kms my current Road users ticket allows....

If you are doing a deal thru trademe, I think the best option is either cash on delivery (as was said before) - and it worked for me when i sold my parts ute - guy turned up, gave me cash and took ute away.... the otherway would be to use safetrader - ok it costs a few dollars (buggerall really) but it holds the money in a trust account until the buyer recieves the goods and is happy with the deal, then the buyer gets the money!! Thats the way I would deal...

:finger: :finger: :finger: you lucky bugger!!!
-
I spy... rooted touring!!! Evan, this is your car on drugs.....
-
Hey, this is a classic example.... you all would have seen the ads on TV about mental illness "know me before you judge me"..... Well the same applies for my wagon, know it before you judge it... I bet you that if you saw what it could do and where it will go, I would have your ass in it too...... I am not into that sort of sh*t (bad pun there...) so your lucky.... But honestly, the DX is a lot better than it looks... I enjoy driving it in a way that i dont enjoy driving the BMW, maybe its the "i dont care two shits about it" attitude towards it...... I do prefer the chicks that i do pick up in my hack, cos i know that they definitly aint in it for the car!!!
-
LMAO I love the way you say that....
-
was it diesel?? Maybe THATS the secret!!! its quite disturbing really a!
-
uh yeah - I drive this to pick up the chicks.... And I dont even drive the BMW any more - it was just a facade (dunno how to get the little doffer under the c to make it look right, but you know the word I mean!!) I just felt fake driving it, and the girls saw right thru it!! The DX is more my style - it is rough as guts and will go anywhere without complaint and arrive looking like a bucket of steaming sh*t.... So Ill just leave the BMW parked in the corner of the shed, thinking about what its done.... may even make it a dunce cap or some sh*t!! Straight up, the wagon has a better track record than my BMW, maybe its the fact that the back seats fold down???
-
in fact the value of the straight ones is going to go up as the years go by.... very collectable!
-
ive got seat covers in my wagon - vinal seats suck in summer - too bloody hot!!! they are handy, if you spill sh*t on them, just rip em out and wash em! I got sheep skin ones in my BMW, mum couldnt understand why i wouldnt put the yellow and black ones in... You can tell they are seat covers, but they sheep!! so they look right with the car.... however i wouldnt have playboy ones or those repco / supercheap ones that look like racing seats!
