  1. I drove my BMW tonight for the first time in about a week I last filled my car 3 weeks ago - and its only on 3/4 My back tyres are bald... It was wet.... Ive listened to 8 Foot Sativa's 3 cds pretty much constantly for the last week...
  2. In the month since I moved home from Auckland I have had a head on collision in my Isuzu Bighorn (after owning it for only a week) - not my fault Rolled, Bowled and Assholed a 2004 Deutz Fahr AgroCompact F80 tractor, Gondola and my bosses 1994 Toyota Hilux 2.4D double cab - all in one hit! I was towing the Hilux on an A-Frame behind the Gondola, the ute broke the A-Frame going round a corner and rearended the gondola causing it to tip and push my tractor sideways - little narrow tractor (designed for getting up rows of grapes) went straight for the curb and bounced up it - rolling onto its side. Plenty of damage - ute is probably a write off, gondola was in use the next day and I got my tractor back yesterday - minus the right hand door (glass, shattered when I landed on it) and the front is held on with cable ties - Dori Spec tractor. Will be a couple of days for the replacement parts to arrive. Best part is, boss is sweet as with the whole deal. More to come, gotta get my tractor out to Bayview now...

  6. Im feeling the stupidly high prices too!! Damn I need to get my 4x4 back on the road. Should be sussed by the end of next week - it just doesnt look too pretty after my headon with an Audi a couple of weeks back... My BMW is my toy!! Shouldnt be my work car too!!
  7. :gay: Just get a big yellow one... maccas styles.
  8. Happy birthday bro. I seem to be making a habit of coming across these threads too late - meh, thats what happens when your busy right?
  9. Merry late birthday. Buy my E36 - then I can start my E30 V8 project! Im getting sick of just looking at it at my mates place waiting for vacant shed space...
  10. Odd, I only seem to have that problem with the occasional pump - mostly its just biff the nozzle in and let her rip. However mine does seem to blos gas back out when it is full - as was mentioned above, rinse with water and wipe with paper towels...
  11. I wonder if its even his.... If it is, it cant be an M3... I always thought that M3s had big brakes... To the point where 15 inch factory alloys (from Non-M3s) would not fit on... Bet its just got a Tardme M3 badge glued on with kwik grip or something equally horrible...Anyway, on topic, the easiest solution is to just drill holes in the number plate - I mean its easier than pissing around with a hacksaw. Besides, if you dont have a drill or a hack saw, mark where you need the holes to be and just bang a dirty great nail through it - it doesnt matter what method you use, I mean your going to be covering the holes with the screws anyway. Honestly, who would drill holes in the boot of their car before attempting to drill holes in a number plate. I know where my preference is.

    If you had...

Damn that auction closing, I wanted to ask if he had calluses on his Knuckles...As for the $2g, I dont think your going to get too much go for that... But I could be wrong. Maybe do a little on the intake. But go fast bits get expensive quickly - especially if you want big power while keeping it N/A

    s1k bemma

Save your money for the inevitible gearbox and engine rebuilds. Scrap your E30 - its worth more as parts than as the Uncle Bens you posted photos of at the start of your thread. Edit:I know that one mans choice is anothers nightmare, but there has to be a line somewhere! There is no account for some peoples taste but.... Um.... Yeah... How bout some sort of thing like the new rules taxi drivers have to abide by now - they have to be able to type logically in English before they can post on the forums?

    The Hate Thread

I had a goat, his name was Puffball. He ate some Hemlock and died (same stuff they used to kill Socrates)Anyway, I hate that its raining outside at the moment - Im on holiday dammit, I dont want rainy days! I hate how my Camry blew its radiator in Tokoroa at 1:30am on Saturday morning. I hate that I got pwned by the plastic resivour blowing hot water all over me when I released the cap I hate that it took me just over 6 hours to make a 4 hour trip - especially when there was no traffic on the road I hate that I had to spend yesterday working on my diesel and not on something fun I hate how Jasons Laurel had an engine siezure I hate how Im having trouble spelling today I hate that I didnt do anything last night and slept instead I hate how Im feeling so full of hate at the moment! I hate everything.

    The Love Thread

I love the hate thread I love sober driving for owners of Toyota Hilux Surfs, in Auckland... So much more fun than Dial-A-Driver eh Andrew! I love that I have a 10 day holiday coming up, and its only costing me 4 days annual leave.
  17. Sorry about the delay in replying - Ive been rather busy at work and havent had time to get on my computer. Initially it was a RB25DET with a sh*t load of engine work but they discovered that it was full of water when they pulled it apart up in Auckland, so it got binned in favour of a VL RB30 block with a RB25DET head. The whole engine was built from the block up with a lot of expensive toys - will get the list of evrything that was done to it and post it up. The Cam gear cover is made of perspex, and while it does indicate it is an RB26, it is only because that was the only clear cover availible - and hey, when you have adjustable cam gears, you gotta show em off a! While it was sitting in the shed, my mate decided to wind the adjustables right down as far as they would go. Looked very impressive sitting on its ass, but it was rubbing rather hard! The day it was started, we were towing it down the road in gear to get the engine turning over to free it up a bit and to get some oil up into the engine. Well, it was being towed behind Jasons VZ SS ute, and there was a f**k load of smoke. At first I thought it was the engine making it smoke, but as soon as I got a wiff, I knew what was going on - the front tyres were being ripped to shreds! (I was following behind in my 325 with my hazard lights - big rangi drifters dont have anything so mundane as controls for the hazard lights!!)The front tyres have some pretty big gouges in them - down to the steel belts in the middle! Well, brand new 19s cant be cheap! It is on 19x9s in the front, and 19x11s on the back. I really hope Jas doesnt drift on them, I mean the 4 factory 17s on his SS are all looking rather sad - but if you ever meet him, you will understand - he has a 2005 SS Commodore Ute - Black and 6 speed - his "tow car" (which, incidently, has won the last 3 burnout comps in a row in Hastings - there is something pretty cool about a brand new SS smoking as hard as it does and bouncing off the rev limiter in 3rd on the burnout pad... It really gets the crowd going.) Shall get some more pictures when I got home next - hopefully Ill be able to sneak the Laurel out for a wee skid - as long as it has been run in! Oh yeah, Emma, if you saw this thing as it came from Japan, you wouldnt call it the third coolest thing to come from the land of the rising sun - it was a dirty old diesel when we started on it... A dirty old DEAD diesel in fact!! Theres been a lot of work gone into it - almost a year up in Auckland and at Mitchells Motor Sport in Hamilton... needless to say, some rather large $$ have gone into it to get it to where it is now :mosh:
