They do look E46ish, but having said that, it could be those eyelid type things they sell on trademe to make your e36 lights look like e46 items... Just a stab in the dark, but I was under the impression that the moulding under the E46 headlights didn come off like that. Happy to be proven wrong on that one!

Not true - my mate (who is only 20) has a 2005 SS Commodore ute - factory 250 odd KW and it has really changed my opinions - he has only done the exhaust and intake but it is f**kin insane. It seems the more V8s I drive or go for a ride in, the more convinced I am that they are the way - I mean like Tim said - look at how much you have to spend to make a 4 banger as fast as a V8.Jason (with the VZ SS Commy) recently went to drift school and got 3rd (and "most extreme drifter") - that was on the track with guys in cefiros and laurels etc who had put in a lot of engine work... V8s just have a way bigger and more useable rev range, where an RB25DET (or other jap turbo) needs to be on boost to get power. Look at the recent Imports Vs V8s drags they had at Meremere... The V8s absolutely cleaned up - even Reece McGreggor in "Austrialsia's fastest GTR" was taken down by a V8. I think the final points talley on the day was V8s 35 to Imports 5. Looking at those figures, how can you tell me that a 4 Banger is the way to go? My 2c is that V8s are just like convertables... Dont knock them until you have tried them or at least had your ass whipped by one. Back to the topic - that M3 looks pretty sweet - go fast with sounds. Nice. :mosh:

Toyota Surf would have pwned that hill climb event eh!! Would have been a fun event to watch - I would have done it in a powerful RWD and drifted the whole way up!! Bugger the time - Maximum smoke and minimum traction! :mosh:

Getting the trans cooler kit done is a good idea, but from experience, towing a load that is heavier than the vehicle you are towing with is asking for trouble. You may get away with it, but if the trailer decides to start pushing your little E30 around there wont be much you can do... I recently rolled a vineyard tractor on the road because the load was heavier than the tractor - load pushed going round the corner and I ended up lying on my side on the side of the road. You probably wouldnt end up rolling it, but imagine if you got pushed going down the Rimmutakas or other such place... Its a long way down. You will probably find it a lot cheaper to hire a light truck for a one way trip. It will save you the risk to your car - and also probably prevent other damage that may come from towing such a heavy load over such a long distance.

That last question is the coolest! "which are you more comfortable wielding - a scalpel or a sledge hammer?" Well thats a hard one! Id pick the hammer every time, cos as we all know hammers fix everything. Aint that right Gus And like Tim, Im a corvette.

Are you still not over yourself? for f**ks sake.one wonders why people would do that to a car... and then post it on trademe in the way that was done...

E36 motorsport spoilers - sedan vs coupe
Napier_E36 replied to a13antichrist's topic in General Discussion
You could just take it off and leave it off - thats always a good option!!! IMO E36s look best without wings, but each to his own I guess. -
Mine does the same - if its too heavy for the intermittent but not heavy enough for the wipers to be constantly going, I just tap down on the lever once to make the wipers go... its only a minor inconvenience, so just deal with it I guess...

3M TA3 if you look at it in a mirror or in reverse it says EAT M3 Nah, it would say EAT ME Thats not exactly a high DB reading tho - the last time I paid any attention to it, most of the serious competitors were doing well over 150DB.... I quite like the plate QUP2CY (que up to see why) 502SLO (5 Oh Too Slow)

I saw that in Napier tonight.... DAM that is one extremely sexy car!
