  1. I know of a very tidy black CSL in Auckland, owned by a doctor. He hit me up about buying my car one day on the street. I have his details if you want them 'M3 Power' , unless it was you?
  2. There's quite a few for sale where I hang out mate http://www.s14.net/forums/search.php?searchid=1359280
  3. You'd be better to keep an eye on trademe for a leather M-Tech II for a couple of hundred and have it re upholstered in Alcantara (same as the Sport Evos had) It's a bummer as I just sold my M-Tech II for someting better I reckon, will post pics soon.
  4. Good stuff bro, off to the mountain this weekend. But next weekend the Mrs is in Aitutaki- Rarotonga so will have some time to help out.
  5. BMW stocks them. I priced one up for my M3.
  6. Hook yourself up one of these bro. http://bmwfans.info/parts/catalog/E30/2-do...erings_plaques/
  7. Email I received from trademe a few minutes ago...
  8. You can use 'Power Steering fluid', Redline makes a good one that's available from BNT http://www.redlineoil.com/products_coolant...subCategoryID=5 ATF Dextron II or III were no doubt recommended for our E30s 20 years ago, but technology has improved in fluids since then. I certainly wouldn't use the factory recommended oil for my car these days. You can try a few different techniques to flush. This way is a bit wasteful of new fluid: Use a suction gun/syringe or carefully siphon to take the fluid out of the reservoir (when warm/hot) and replenish with the Redline or whatever ATF fluid you want to use, repeat several times. Or you could take one end of the return hose off that runs back into the reservoir, put the loose hose end into a bucket or small container. Start the car, turn the wheel full lock left to right. Stop the car, top up the reservoir and repeat that step a couple of times. It's possibly safer to do it the first way, albeit a bit more wasteful as if any of your seals on your powersteering pump or rack are weak and you remove the lubricating oil whilst doing the x10 lock to lock then you run an extremely high risk of blowing them completely. Which means you will have no more power steering until you replace/recon the failed part. *This is just my back yard technique, mechanics/pros feel free to critique my techines.
  9. I agree Graham. It's the only New Zealand car magazine I buy. I'm always flicking through the for sale section at the supermarket whilst the Mrs does the grocery shopping.

^Chris Jake's mate in Australia makes those plenums, he was running an Autronic SM4 I think. This thread should answer many questions http://passionford.com/forum/pictures-vide...econd-saff.html Here's a video of his 11 second pass Chris, Inside car: http://s25.photobucket.com/albums/c77/BMEP...nt=2a0d3849.flv Outside car: http://s25.photobucket.com/albums/c77/BMEP...nt=MOR21T11.flv Jake it's good to see you with another very nice car It's Ollie here from Passionford, I sold my Black Sapphire to 'KSMYRS' on here (see his signature). I now own an E30 M3.
  13. I'd certainly front up the extra $2000 for 50,000 less kilometers if the car is a lot nicer.
  14. There's going to be 5 of us from these forums, KSMYRS, Eagle, DylanM3, Laurence and myself 3 x E30 M3s, Sierra Cosworth and Eagle in his 325i If you're driving down on your road tyres Chris and taking a spare set of rims then I wouldn't bother with semi slicks. If it's dry, then you'll do far better with full slicks and if it starts to rain, then you'll be wasting your time with semi slicks anyhow and would want to put your road tyres back on.
  15. If you want to go nuts bro, get slicks http://www.dunlop.co.nz/tyres_motorsport.aspx?cat=1 200/580R15 Toyo R888 are the most affordable semi slick, Dunlop DZ03G http://www.dunlop.co.nz/tyres_motorsport.aspx?cat=3 and Yokohama A048s are a step up from the Toyos. I guess it's all about how much money you want to spend mate. I'll either be running a set of Dunlop semi or full slicks on my spare set of BBS RS 225/45R16
  16. Mine refuses to drive my E30 M3, when I owned the Sierra Cosworth she wouldn't drive that either...
  17. Arrow wheels would only send them on to Kwik strip and charge you extra for doing so. Arrow wheels are great, Pro coat would get my vote if there's no curbing or damage and they just need painting. Kwik Strip Ltd 40 Patiki Road Avondale (09) 8281462
  18. sh*t the bed, that was epic. I really want to go back to the Nurburgring after watching that
  19. If anyone's not up to much it should be a pretty entertaining afternoon, especially with Kiwi Team Nurburgring. Channel 1 4pm: Otago Classic Rally 5pm: Targa Rotoura 5:25pm: Kiwi Team Nurburgring 2009
  20. Yep, winning bid: $1,310.00 Off they go to Australia, 3 Australians joined trademe just to bid.
