  1. Hi Penry. I as Josh has just said I've had my E30 M3 shipped from Wellington to Auckland. The cost was $337 + GST I used Car Haulaways http://www.carhaul.co.nz/ it took only a day to get here. Car Haulaways are the biggest car transporter outfit in the country as far as I'm aware. My vehicle arrived to good shape, the only catch is the "no lower than 150mm" rule.
  2. Hey mate, As I've already got the Sport Evo seats in my M3 (Recaro SRs) I'm just going to get them re upholstered here in Auckland.
  3. The seats Josh has posted are Recaro SR seats, which the E30 M3 Sport Evos had right? Anyhow I'm getting this done to my E30 M3 this week I love the 4th pic Josh has posted but I'm a bit of a leather junkie and I figure all leather wont stain as bad etc

  5. I'd say either of the first 2 sets ( prefer the first ).
  6. Nice choice mate, I'm going for Full Leather on the fronts though, but with the same M /// So is that the price for Seats and Leather landed here, or just the leather covering?
  7. I've been told by Liam ( the old owner ) that they are M3 Evo Seats mate. I'm going to get them recovered in leather like this.... http://www.s14.net/forums/showthread.php?t=28501
  8. I'm still unsure about the wheels. Currently it's sitting on MK Motorsport wheels, Fronts are 17 x 8" Et 15 with 215/40R17 Bridgestone Potenzas Rears are 17 x 9" Et 24 with 235/40R17 Bridgestone Potenzas I love the BBS LMs with the silver dish and black centres. Do any of you lads know if I could squeeze wider tyres on the back or would I end up with rubbing issues etc?
  9. Cheers Aza, It's still in Wellington now mate, I opted for the easy option and flew down and back yesterday. I've been on the phone all morning trying to organize a transporter to bring it up to me in Central Auckland. It's been a bit of a mission as most Car Transporter outfits won't haul anything lower than 150mm ( I've had a friend in Wellington measure it and it's bang on 150mm so fingers crossed). I've had to sort out insurance for it also which was a bit of a hassle, I ended up going with Classic Car Insurance who will cover it only when it's not under its own power (ie. on a trailer/transporter or sitting in the garage) But it's only $147.20 per year so I'm happy about that....
  10. Cheers smart arse Josh (hybrid) was the one who convinced me that buying the E30 M3 was a good idea. let's hope he's right
  11. Hey guys and girls, Flew down to Wellington yesterday and picked this up from Liam (chompa) on these forums. It's a 1989 E30 M3, in need of some TLC but the body is really straight and there's no rust that I can find. It has M3 Evo seats in the front which is a bonus So you'll all be seeing me around a bit more now that I've switched from Ford RS Cosworth to BMW ownership ps. Anyone want to buy a mint 1988 Sierra RS Cosworth (see my sig ) *hopefully the pics work*

    NZ$20k E30 M3

I've spoken to Tony (TWR) about this particular car. He says it's a 1986, first registered in Germany in 1986, then it was later exported to Japan. The car itself is still in Japan so he's waiting for a keen buyer here with a deposit.
