More thread jacking/ What 17"s are we talking here, not 17x8.5" Et 18 LMs by chance? I don't have to sell them, I just see 17"s as being far more versatile for trackdays etc and I'm after a square setup. The 17x8.5" I want will cost me $4,900 landed from Germany.

Jesus, I know Kris through the Ford RS owners club. I certainly have a fair idea how much time and money has been put into this. I hope he gets more than $15,000 for it.
-
I'm in the same boat sorry to say If you're going to get a Z3 then the M Coupe should be your only consideration
-
Just saw this , Not yet, I think the living in New Zealand thing is not helping me. I'm tempted to put them on trademe but I don't think anyone in New Zealand would think they're worth more than $1000
-
The offsets will be too high and I don't want to run spacers, which is a shame as they'd make for some good track rims for sure. I don't yet have the balls to fork out $5,000 for a second hand set of 17" BBS LMs

Nice tyres, just the size I'm after but I need to buy my 17" rims first They're certainly not the 'best' you can get though, they are the cheapest, the the Yokohama AO48s and Michelins are far better in my opinion.

Is this thread still going....

A++ would trade again. I'll stick that up on s14power.com if you don't mind Josh? Edit, cancel that, I'm about 5 months too late.
-
Haha, I was the 'tragic' guy.

I think these sweet Brembo brake caliper covers would compliment the BBS covers nicely http://www.trademe.co.nz/Browse/Listing.aspx?id=206144447

I would generally only go for Black or Silver, possibly white. I don't think I'd go for any other colours unless it was some very rare collectible.
-
Sorry to see you have to sell these. Beautiful piece of kit, something I wish I could justify buying right now and not further down the track.
-
Paging me... Oh wait I've already got a set!
-
I'd quite like to test cars at the Nordschleife
-
^ Yep, all my cars have always done it.

Hi brook, try in the 'marketplace' section of the forums. http://www.bimmersport.co.nz/forums/index.php?showforum=12 Perhaps make a similar thread there

You could try Supagas or Air Liquide. We've recently switched our account from BOC to Supagas.

Is that from the accident down on the West Coast of the South Island? A tree fell onto the road right in front of the officer.

Markus currently has the same wheels for sale as Laurence bought (BBS RS 212 - 17x8.5"). If you want BBS LMs, RS, Alpinas, Hartage etc then you should hang out in this forum. http://www.s14.net/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=69

He got them from a guy called Markus in Germany, here is his website. He has many more rims not listed on the website so you're best to email him with your request. http://bmwm3shop.de/main.php?site=prod&mid=7&sid=29 email: [email protected] These aren't run of the mill $2000 rims though, expect to pay landed here with the current exchange rates anywhere from $4000 up to $5000. In saying that the rims he sells are very rare and sought after classics

This post pretty much sums it up.

^ I totally agree mate. I was quite disappointed with a majority of cars on display this year. Maybe next year we can have a Toyota Starlet display to compliment the other sh*t that was on show
