Welcome to the board

Hi Colin, nice ride mate, love the wheels. I'm also stuck in the late 80's with my taste in cars... Lancia Delta Integrales, Sierra Cosworths etc all the good old Group A cars
-
I did spot those mate, the add is a little confusing though. Are they made by BMW but are not actual M3 alloys?
-
Yes, Ray is a top dog! Had great help from him on several occasions now
-
Just arrived in Mykonos - Greece, have wireless at the hotel. Will hopefully see you on MSN, maybe send me a text when you jump on..... We're 9 hours behind here though, so no 3am text messages....
-
yea bro, had a chat to him on MSN, haven't seen you on MSN for a while?.

Hello mate, sorry for the late reply. I'm hoping to take a spin in either the Zakspeed Dodge Viper or failing that the Ring taxi. http://www.zakspeed.de/the-motorsport-comp...ndex.php?id=381 apparently the viper is a lot more loose than the M5 and they lap a lot faster too. I might even trying to rent a racecar ( preferably an E30 M3) I'll keep you posted
-
As per the title guys.. I'm after a set of 4, 17 or 18" rims to fit the E36 with or without tyres. Ideally I'd like some M3 ( or M3 replica ) rims but I'm not too fussed, they must be in fairly good order though. Post here or PM me if you have something. Cheers, Ollie.

Hi Andy and welcome Very nice collection of cars you have , you're missing an E30 M3 though aren't you

Taupo track is not all that difficult to hire. When you factor in the amount of gas it will cost people to do a 4 hour return trip plus food and accomodation, an extra $150 for Track 1 is not too hard for individuals in my opinion. If I can still get Track 1 for $4500 for the full day ( weekday that is ) then 30 of us at $150 per head is good going ( even cheaper if we get more people ) Does anyone on Bimmersport or the BMWCC have a good relationship with Taupo Race Track and might could possibly get a better hire price? November or February would be good as it's not conflicting with holidays and the weather is fairly reliable, plus it gives us a good 5 + months to get it all sorted and for the uni students to save their pennys http://www.tauporacetrack.co.nz/circuit_map.cfm We should definiatly look into Hampton Downs for the future http://www.hamptondowns.com/

So I edited the title of my thread to save making another one fellas I'm in Europe at the moment, currently in Turkey. Bumped into a fellow E30 M3 owner, he has a Bently, Porsche 911 (with 1000 miles on it), M5 and sold his E46 CSL (which he regrets) and has a new E92 M3 on order. Really nice guy, took us out to lunch and took us on a site seeing tour through some great roads, sideways most of the way And he's the same age as me, 27 I thought I'd post some pictures worth mentioning as I go along, I'll be in Germany at the Nurburgring in a few months so I'll definitley be taking heaps of photos there.

If Taupo was going to be the central meeting point, would it make sense to book the track also?. This is assuming it would be more than a 1 day meet ( as 4 hours each way in one day is pretty excessive in my opinion)
-
^ Cheers Willy. Sorry about being slack with everyone who sent me PMs etc, I was busy getting ready to go to Europe. I'm in Turkey at the moment and Willy has been kind enough to sell all the parts on my behalf. Any questions etc, would be better posted here or PM savant/Willy as I'm in Europe and the internet is rather difficult at the moment.

As Willy/Savant said it was taken next to the Curran St on ramp, a few weeks back. I live in John St ( the BP Connect Jervois Rd end) when I'm not in Europe ( I'm currently in Turkey ) Oh yea, and Willy, is my car still in one piece or is it up on blocks in some dodgy neighbourhood, I hope you put plenty of diesel down before you baked it up

Hello and welcome, Was that pic taken around the Ponsonby/ Herne Bay area ( or have I just embarrassed myself? )

That's a pretty informative rebuild thread, thanks for sharing

Too right bro, I was half tempted to make a phony thread pretending to be a 'girl' and find some random pic of a hottie.
