    Personalised Plates

Europeans like Personalized plates as 99% of their countries don't have Personalized plates.

    Personalised Plates

I f@#king hate them, they're such a load of wank. If a car I bought had a personalized plate, that would be the first thing I would change.
  3. Funniest thing all day, cheers man This problem put me off buying my E30 M3 for a long time, I really wasn't feeling the whole being bagged as a G-Unit flat brimmed cracker with just another sacked E30 on Chromes.
  4. Cheers for the comments guys. The seats were recovered by Auckland Auto Trimmers also known as Retro in Grey Lynn - Auckland. They're out of the E30 M3 Sport Evolution, they're Recaro SR's The Mitisibish Evolution 3 actually had Recaro SR's in it from the factory so if you weren't looking to pay $4000-$5,000 on getting some in from Germany then perhaps a wreckers might have some old SR's from an Mitisi lying about. The chap who Laurence bought some from for his E30 M3 is this guy http://www.s14.net/forums/showthread.php?t=28501
  5. I took some 'better' pictures tonight so I edited my first post fellas. Enjoy. ps. Still waiting for you Josh/Hybrid to come over and take some pro photos for me

    BBS RS :)

You're right mate, I was quite surprised. I've spent £250 GP in freight just getting an intercooler for my old Sierra Cosworth here.
  7. Hi-Tek

    BBS RS :)

I had a quote of £210 GP = $530NZD to ship 4 x 17" from Germany to me in Auckland.
  8. Hi-Tek

    BBS RS :)

If you're after 16", you get them cheaper here ( just keep your eyes peeled) I've had a quote from Markus in Germany for some wheels before and they'll set you back upwards of $4,000 landed.
  9. Hi-Tek

    BBS RS :)

Yea, I think between BBS RS and BBS LMs they're certainly the hottest wheels for the E30 M3 I was about to mention what rubber you were thinking of putting on them Laurence, my mate Willie who bought Wayne's old red E30 M3 has just put some Toyos on his, I'll see what he thinks of them. What offsets are those 17s?
  10. Hi-Tek

    BBS RS :)

Sweet jesus! Those are badass mate I'm certainly going to have to trade in my 16" RS's for some 17s Did you get those from Markus in Germany, what offsets? When do you get your bloody car back
  11. Crikey Conrad, you'll have me scraping all over the show mate, I was hoping to come and have a chat to you about a couple of things to do with my car and the suspension setup.
  12. What stud pattern is the old Merc?
  13. I've seen another E30 M3 sell for this price over the past few months also with 150,000+ kms. I've seen E30 M3 Sport Evos and Evo2s go for 60+ this year also. Not that I'm surprised at all and they'll only go up in price.
  14. Yea mate, he told me he has been searching for a second set of these for the past 6 years ( makes me wish I had of set the buy now price higher )
  15. No mate, it's the weekend/sunny day car. Lives in the garage safe and warm ( but it gets driven often )
  16. MK Motorsport Wheels have sold on trademe for buy now price
  17. It's easy to say that by looking at the photos but the reality of getting 40 profile up front and 35 at the rear is near impossible. In an ideal world I'd have gone for the profiles you suggest but it wouldn't work, I did a lot of research before I bought these tyres ( they were f@#king expensive too $2150) so it wasn't something I did to look all G-Unit.

    Car Alarms

I had huge problems with my AVS S5 on my old car and wouldn't go near them again. I've now gone with a Mongoose M80G on my M3 and all is well so far
  19. Hi guys, I need a little help here I have some bits for sale, some I put on trademe others I need to find out what they're actually worth. Here's some pictures of the stuff I have, I'll edit my post accordingly as I upload pics/ give descriptions. I hope my asking price uncertainty doesn't offend anyone, I'm very keen to sell. I just don't want to offend anyone by asking too much, nor do I want to rip myself off. E30 Modified Front Struts, ready for Ground Control Coil Over Kit or similar. Brand new Hubs and ABS rings. Koni Adjustable Shocks Springs, Stock E30 M3 Rears and Aftermarket (unsure of the make but have 83004/5 written on them) Fronts (not sure about the rates or if they'll work with E30s) Mk Motorsport Mk1 Wheels: 8x17" Et 15 fronts with 215/40ZR17 Potenza RE-01 Tyres and 9x17" Et 24 rears with 235/40ZR17 Potenza RE-01 R Tyres. http://www.trademe.co.nz/Trade-Me-Motors/C...n-151940403.htm AC Schnitzer Front Strut Brace (came off my E30 M3) guessing it will fit all E30s? E30 Clear Side Repeaters (not M3) Azev Rim, Type A. 5x120, 7.5x17" Et 20 or 30 (will confirm) with Bridgestone Potenza RE711 215/40ZR17 near new

  21. Hi guys, just snapped a couple of quick pictures before the light got worse than it was. I've just fitted my BBS LMs so I thought I'd share the moment 8.5x18 with 225/35ZR18 fronts and 9.5x18 255/30ZR18 rears.
  22. Get something discreet and almost factory looking that mounts in the dash somewhere, not above or on the dash or you'll run the risk of 'rice' factor. If you have to go after market then get something nice like an autometer, autogauge is fairly cheap in my opinion. Not quite sure why you'd need a shift light unless you plan on having this on the track a lot. [Edit] Typo

    New plates....

    Do you drift your car?
  24. No need to get all shirty with the poor guy that's just trying to sell his rims.... I think you're fine provided the spacers are attached to the wheels ( ie. 3 grub screws that go through the spacers and into the rims ) that way they are part of the wheel. This is what I've done with my 5mm spacers for the fronts and my 15mm for the rear. There are alot of cars that come with spacers from the factory. Some of the new porsches come with spacers from the factory. {edit- poor spelling }
  25. Those are f@#king hot mate, if only they were 5x120 and 17" I'd have them on my M3 in a flash. That's a f@#king good score for an E30 though and worth every penny. BBS RS and LMs would have to be the hottest rims for the good old E30 I reckon
