I'm quite glad the e30s are out of the value-dive. By the time I sell my e36, I'll probably only get half of what I paid back. Gutted!

Besides, you can't sell/trade/swap standard rego plates anyway. I've got proper euros on one of my cars, and the german plates on the other- You forget about the $500, though obviously not as quick as the $80 for German plates. Do whichever your budget allows, and if you have repercussions from using the german plates, well tough, we all know they aren't technically legal, just remind yourself you were probably being cheap at the time and are most likely paying for it now! (Touches wood...) They both make the car look a hell of a lot better, so it's worth either the risk of being snapped or the stupid outlay for a peice of reflective coated metal for your car.

Well if it says when you are eligible for superannuation or 5 years, whichever comes first, it means just that. Unless your going to be 65 in less than 5 years, you can't use the money until such a date as you ARE 65. Shibby? That's my take on the thing anyway-

The batt in my e36 is in the front. I get a feeling the people who installed the doof doofs into it made the hole in the firewall behind glove box bigger then sealed it with silicone or something.
