haha good luck! was thinking the same thing...rare as rocking horse sh*t in nz and go for about 9k or so.....ive never seen an e30 318is in the flesh in nz.....but yeah mint cars....although the true baby m3 would be the italian 320is
-
dont go mirror tints! they look ghey....just a nice legal tint...bmw come tinted so it may appear darker....they really do a lot for the looks of the car
-
14 yo engine...dinosaur design...maybe? my mother not getting very good economy outta the 525 either....must be a design feature
-
muhaha ive already got a pair....approx 3 k radius...........just got new handsfree kit too!
-
make that dave andy and i.....and im sure they'll have no complaints with ribbed....extra pleasure for the ladies
-
both the OBC and my wallet say around 10L/100k round town, that was with the pod, will be interested to see if my switch to stock is any different....the obc says around 7L/100k extramural....havnt done any in a while but i tend to drive a bit harder outta town so that prob not too right
-
18L/100k! haha nasty! old engine, maybe losing compression...although that cant be too much over factory specs...it is a big heavy car after all.....most 325's do somewhere round 10l/100 round town....what does it do on normal roads?
-
well, it COULD pull it....just not very fast
-
no your car will be gutless with a 3.46...give it to me ...damn first his konis now his L_D....you bitch!
-
its all grants if he wants it....if you do end up making a Cold air intake...use abs plastic or similar....aluminium may sound good (reflects heat) but it actually absorbs it over time and then radiates it into the pod, rendering it ineffective
-
sorry, i meant with the manual box auto boxes have one less gear and the gears are longer, so need a shorter differential to help make up acceleration
-
meh.....as long as my interior and glass is clean, im relatively happy...exterior i dont let bother me too much still....looks mint
-
i might see if i can get time off work........ill try cruise shotty with andrew, although dave will prob nab that.....or just pray that my car works
-
would expect somewhere round 4k at 100kph....if not a little bit more
-
dude make sure you charge you battery when you can...its really bad for them to run fully flat....and i get the feeling buying a new battery is the last thing you need ....sucks being a student and owning an e30!
-
wicked video..half my other vids dont work...thanks for the codecs will give it a go
-
holy smokes....thats coming from an auto i take it....are you running 5 spd yet? ideally you want a 3.73....im running a 3.63....3.91 is availible but is kinda high rpm at cruising speed and gets through the engines powerband too quickly...and of course if you can get an LSD...they come in 3.73, 3.91 and 4.1 tim has a 4.1 i think....but yeah...your diff will be way too high...put something better in there

haha..auto primeras....oh dear
-
i havent driven my car with the stock intake in so cant really comment on difference....and my car came with the pod....prob not a huge difference but it should sound good.....it WOULD make a difference if you either bought or made a heat shield so it doesnt suck in engine bay air (www.lukasbmw.com) makes nice ones. a K&N pod would be identical.....they all pretty much one and the same....
-
well my car is going fine....so i should be ok......ask andrew about the head interchangeability...hes using a 323 head on a 325 block...estimated 9.5:1 compression after machining
-
dont know...but i dont imagine it would be cheap....why not get one custom made? somewhere in the vicinity of $500 or so, 2 1/2 " the whole way with 2 mufflers....andrews got his on and sounds pretty good...real tidy install....but if ya set on remus im not sure...ive seen them on e30s though up here..
-
well im hoping if i say this my problem wil resurface...it seems to be fine after i changed the coolant temperature sensor..was sending f**ked up signals to the ECU.....so maybe wont need new RPM and CAS sensors after all...hasnt done it since yesterday...record!
