Thanks for the reply! Out of interest why would i need the drive shaft from a 320 when i have a 240 gearbox in my316? Or is it because the 320 is stronger? Thanks.

that sounds like a good answer! I have a 316i with a g240 attached and am looking at installing a m50b25 so does this mean I can use my 240 gearbox for this engine and don't have to source custom mounts? cheers.

From what I have read the 240/260 is fine! What gearbox mount are you going to use?

Just a quick update I have managed to change the dashboard over! pics to follow and only one grazed knuckle lol !

i am trying to take out my dashboard! all seems good to go and loose. but for some reason its not coming out as easy as I thought it would? do you I have to take out the centre consol maybe? any help would be great cheers!
