I've got a v1 valentine and been using it the past week while I've been blapping all around the country and its definitely saved my ass a few times, the rang with the ka band is great you can spot cops a mile away you just gotta be careful because the new vans are using k band which operates at a lower frequency so the v1 wont pick it up till your much closer and I'm not to sure on what range the vans can detect your speed at tho
