The A6 V8 4.2 Quattro is being done at the moment

We had to do an alternator on a V8 2 weeks ago. Wasnt too bad tho

Its not to bad to do actually. We can get the whole front off in about 1hr to 1.5hr. Gives you heaps of room to work..specially on a hoist at chest level. First one would take you longer. Were doin them all the time

impressive.

it makes sense to be able to remove the front like that and leave most hoses and stuff attached, pretty good engineering, provided you know what you're doing it shouldn't be too much of a nightmare i guess.

The belt would have to be the least expensive bit of the whole job?
