What would you have in you dream garage?

Recommended Posts

1) Mercedes Benz CLS 63 AMG - Daily driver

2) BMW M5 E39 - Back road/weekend car

3) BMW 335i Touring Msport - for the missus

4) Range Rover Sport R - 4WD to go anywhere (I'd be happy with the TDV8)

5) Ariel Atom 2 - track days?

And if I really had to have a supercar, I'd take a GT3. Not an RS.. just a 'normal' GT3. ;)

Again In no order

Works Rally Datsun 260z

Sierra RS Cosworth

Nissan R390 GT1 Road Car ( yes there was one made - only 1 )

Ferrari 250 GTO

Plymouth Road Runner

Sure only one of that list is really that rare or amazing, but each of those to me are amazing cars that all bring something different and desirable to the table.

Sure no BMW's

E30 M3 would make number 6

Drove one of those at turners.. most exhilaratingly 100 metres of my year

Bastard!! :P Not many are priveliged enough to drive a Vanquish - how did you wrangle that?? You have to sign in blood?

I see there was a used one floating around at Independent Prestige for around $300k.... I guess that 100m actually cost about $1500 in depreciation and maintenance!!

I was thinking that the C6 Corvette and the Dodge Viper would also have to be in the mix somewhere - but I wouldn't be sacrificing the Cigarette for them! Maybe a runaround for the mrs?? It is the dream garage afterall.... :D

Hmmm - RS Cosworth must be one animal of a car to drive. Mind you, the Roadrunner deserves some serious respect too.

DTM E30 M3

2010 Ferrari F450 (when it is released)

Lambo Murchielago R-GT

Aston Martin V12 Vantage RS

Mini Copper S Works Race car & A Ducati 999 in the last parking spot.

none of these cars are practical for daily use, the practical ones will be in the other garage.

Also like Yuen said there would have to be another garage for a hoist and tools and dyno room etc etc ...

The car transporter & helicopter also must have a garage each.

something like that anyway ....

Wow you like the 240ZG too Jonathan!

For me

1) Koenigsegg CCX

2) DTM E30 M3

3) Mines R34 GTR

4) 240ZG

5) Bruce or Denny Hulmes McLaren M8B CANAM car. Or was that the M7A? Either one will do just fine.

Haha when I was there last there was a great big 760Li there, and it was parked between those two great blue concrete poles. An Indian guy spent about 20 minutes trying to back it back between these poles, with half the crowd there watching!!

I would have thought that they had some rule with a Vanquish, to stop every man and his dog from joy-riding in a $300K piece of metal.

You can't exactly joy ride along side the building between the cones at a snails pace. Not like the good old days... remember taking a few WRX STI's and the like for a good strop up the hill when Turners in Wellington was in Ngaio Gorge!
