Andrew 30 Report post Posted July 30, 2008 For those of you who doubted how badass the iPhone was, now is the appropriate time to eat some tasty humble pie. Dynolicious can measure horsepower, 1/4 mile and other performance related crap using the iPhone's in built accelerometer. One word - BADASS. Also lurking in the app store is G-Tac which can do lap timing and graph it. Both are in the AppStore right now - Dynolicious will set you back $16.99 - sweet bugger all compared with a GTech meter. Grant 4 Report post Posted July 30, 2008 I saw this yesterday, and nearly went and bought it (I thought I'll do this later...but then got sidetracked). I must admit it looks pretty damned cool. An RS6 (V6 turbo one) has done a 14.1 1/4 which sounds about right considering the conditions - some controlled vehicles may have got in the way.... Mate had one in his Altezza and it told him he was doing 14.9’s,went to Meremere wand could only ‘pull off’ high 15’s. Worth a laugh for 17 bucks though. I went out on my "private test track" today with the iPhone app...was only a little damp, but recorded a 13.7 quarter and a 0-100 of 5.3sec I'm sure I could do a lot better in the bone-dry...
