tire 10 Report post Posted September 14, 2008 Wow. How come m90 > m30? Do you work on cars for a living or self-taught?
User Name 19 Report post Posted September 18, 2008 I Agree that is Damn mint as, very smart if you look on the net its simple to increase displacement of the m90 block to 3.7 with no drama wereas you know having to bore out a m30 in change stroke etc to get power $$$

topcat 11 Report post Posted September 18, 2008 (edited) Wow. How come m90 > m30? Do you work on cars for a living or self-taught? why the m90?? late m30 blocks are 92mm. early csi blocks are 93.4mm. add the later 86mm crank out of the late m30's = more cc's. bore it out to 95mm, and we come to 3660 odd cc's. na, grow capsicums for a job, muck round the in shed way too much. pistons do look good.alloy and cam ground.oblong shape so they expand/shrink with heat cycles. gapping the rings was a fun job.they came from denco, based in chch. good guy who runs the place, knows his stuff Edited September 18, 2008 by BM Weapon aka topcat

topcat 11 Report post Posted October 22, 2008 (edited) So how is the turbo manifold going to work? And thats not an "XS Power" turbo is it? XS?? no, not that cheap. its a master power unit.cost effective and has given many miles of smiles as for manifold etc........ long weekend soon, hopefully nothing happens to stuff up the plans Edited October 22, 2008 by BM Weapon aka topcat
*Glenn* 854 Report post Posted October 22, 2008 Would like to see the exhaust manifold. Interesting that you are mounting the turbo on the starter, inlet manifold side of the engine. I've not seen that done before. There must be a reason for this ??
