Jeddy 0 Report post Posted October 20, 2008 I just checked the user manual (yes, it still has the originals - and full service records...) The LSD is in the manual for this car. Still, a "real world" test is required to know for sure I think.... Even better score if it doesMaybe a bit of a skid test is in order
OLLIE 26 Report post Posted October 20, 2008 Well, easy. The 335 is a monster to drive. High tech, fast (hehe, esp with all the mods I've done...shiiiiite!!!!) BUT. I'm a real car nut. I love to drive. The e30 is a wicked car to drive. The balance, handling and overall drive is outstanding. So, while I could have bought e36/e46 or whatever I wanted - the e30 (to me) is the start of the 3-series magic... Lastly, I'm a spannerhead. I love to work on machines. (You should see my mountain bikes...sheesh) There is nothing like fixing, servicing and repairing stuff (for me anyway) Fun! kudosI can't wait to meet you at the alehouse next month

Apex 693 Report post Posted October 26, 2008 Good score is write, that thing is nice!! The Side Skirts were a Touring Skirt I believe, sure they are on all Tourings. The hoon in me would have found if it had an LSD within the first 100 meters of ownership

jjs 64 Report post Posted October 27, 2008 Nothing says early 1990s luxury like diagonal striped print velour doorcards. Did BMW NZ bring in any E30's with leather? If they did, would have to be only a few as I've never seen one!
mrad01 0 Report post Posted October 27, 2008 I'd forgotten how little rear legroom is in a 3 series Na, I'm not normal. 2m tall. Front seat is all the way back.

Yes- not many sold here though, and it wasn't standard on any E30 models. But it was optional, on all but 316i.
bmw.maniac 1 Report post Posted October 27, 2008 I'd forgotten how little rear legroom is in a 3 series The legroom in the 5 series isn't much better! I fight with my little sister when she's in the front seat of Dad's e39 530i!

martyyn 2 Report post Posted October 27, 2008 edit... What I meant to say was, hey penry if mrad here can fit in his e30 at 2m tall you might be finding that interesting!Alot depends on the seats and whether there is a sunroof.I had the fully padded leather sports seats and couldnt quiet sit straight, but can get into Pauls 318is with cloth seats and no sunroof with no problems at all.
