OLLIE 26 Report post Posted January 29, 2009 E36 318is - M44 Purchased the car, all the air con was hooked up but the belt was missing. hooked up a new belt. Air con isn't working looking closely at the air-con pump it doesn't look like the internals are spinning, but that may just be my misjudgment. the air con light on the control panel comes on but perhaps it doesn't trigger the pump to engage?? *Glenn* 854 Report post Posted January 29, 2009 (edited) Theres a pressure switch on the receiver dryer, if the gas pressure is low due to leaks, it wont switch on as Brent said.
