Jimmy

What brand of electric supercharger were you running and where can i buy one?

Id definitely be keen just to bolt one on my 320... That will be insane! Id get to 250kph no problem!

Also do they make them for '89 GL corollas? could stick one on my sisters auto thing!

cheers

Refer to links posted, All those are tried and tested by real professionals.

My mates '89 Gl Corolla is running 2 Boost Bars and does 8 second passes.

He might even come along to the meet at Meremere if/when it happens.

Wow are you sure is a GL then? Ours is a hatchback so may be a lil slower, we will see on the day.

Oh, his is a sedan, but hers being a hatch it should be lighter.

And with perfect launches (Slapping from N to D at 5k) she may be able to make it into the 7 second club.

Good luck.

*jumps on bandwagon*

Rules and regulations of the road:

Please review the following summary of Costa Rica's traffic laws. Obey these regulations at all times. Avoid accidents by driving carefully and defensively, that is, expecting the unexpected.

1. Unless otherwise indicated, minimum speed on highways is 40 kilometers per hour (k.p.h.). The speed limit varies and is posted by the road.

2. On highways and secondary roads the speed limit is 60 k.p.h., unless otherwise indicated.

3. In urban areas, the speed limit is 40 k.p.h., unless otherwise indicated.

4. Around school zones and in front of hospitals and clinics the speed limit is 25 k.p.h.

Some drivers here are reckless and rude, especially in a major city. Although the speed limit is usually 40 k.p.hh, Costa Rica holds the world's highest auto fatality rate (18 deaths per 100,000 kms., as opposed to 2.7 deaths in the U.S.)

Yeah those electric superchargers.. Had my 316i hitting 228kph.

I'd post up my dyno sheet but, I lost it. 284rwhp on low boost.

Can you please tell me where I can buy one of these ? I should do it as well, while I'm waiting for my flywheel :P

All over eBay. You'll be amazed at what a girly car is really capable of with forced induction.

I might just run an invertor and use the new hairdryer I just bought. Think I'll tee it into the induction piping and switch it from the TPI switch through a relay.

Sounds like you have it sussed Glenn.

Just remove the tread from those tyres of yours with a sharp knife,

And your new slicks should be handle the extra power.
