e30plz 1 Report post Posted March 23, 2009 (edited) Oh, his is a sedan, but hers being a hatch it should be lighter. And with perfect launches (Slapping from N to D at 5k) she may be able to make it into the 7 second club. Good luck. pjay 8 Report post Posted March 23, 2009 *jumps on bandwagon* Rules and regulations of the road: Please review the following summary of Costa Rica's traffic laws. Obey these regulations at all times. Avoid accidents by driving carefully and defensively, that is, expecting the unexpected. 1. Unless otherwise indicated, minimum speed on highways is 40 kilometers per hour (k.p.h.). The speed limit varies and is posted by the road. 2. On highways and secondary roads the speed limit is 60 k.p.h., unless otherwise indicated. 3. In urban areas, the speed limit is 40 k.p.h., unless otherwise indicated. 4. Around school zones and in front of hospitals and clinics the speed limit is 25 k.p.h. Some drivers here are reckless and rude, especially in a major city. Although the speed limit is usually 40 k.p.hh, Costa Rica holds the world's highest auto fatality rate (18 deaths per 100,000 kms., as opposed to 2.7 deaths in the U.S.)

*Glenn* 854 Report post Posted March 25, 2009 I might just run an invertor and use the new hairdryer I just bought. Think I'll tee it into the induction piping and switch it from the TPI switch through a relay.
e30plz 1 Report post Posted March 25, 2009 Sounds like you have it sussed Glenn. Just remove the tread from those tyres of yours with a sharp knife, And your new slicks should be handle the extra power.
