E30BMA 0 Report post Posted April 16, 2009 LHD is a big put off for me, you couldn't drive it anywhere safely? Why do you say LHD would be unsafe?? Because of the unfamiliar driving position maybe? Ive Driven LHD cars before and it does feel very wierd, but Im sure you would get comfortable with it after a while

E30BMA 0 Report post Posted April 16, 2009 Yep, sure do. Our cars arent quite twins, mines more like the older, uglier brother to gregs 530 since his is pretty tidy. But at least mines got a manual box and an LSD .
martyyn 2 Report post Posted April 16, 2009 Ive driven RHD cars in LHD countries and vice versa and never had any problems. If you have to move right out to see if its clear before you over take someone then you're driving too close behind them in the first place. There's no reason why you cant pull back and see past them clearly enough.
Dyl 4 Report post Posted April 16, 2009 Cheers guys! I have seen the white one on Trademe. I personally don't have any issues driving a LHD, I am a dirty American after all. Was testing the waters to see if anyone is selling theirs or knowns anyone selling. Thanks again, appreciate the feedback!!
