E30 front strut top hats in decent condition.

Recommended Posts

Wanted.

E30 front strut top hats in decent condition.

I only replaced them last year with new ones that were quite pricey but it seems I have destroyed one. Not going to bother with new again.

Thanks

Car is a 1989 E30 with M325i suspension.

Yikes! How have you managed to destroy it in one year? is it the low setup?

Couple of big spins, lots of hard driving.. god knows? Maybe they were cheap after market <_<

The car is only slightly lowered.

Where'd you get your strut top - I've got a new one that's started to crack. If it's the same supplier, maybe we could go back as it's obviously a quality issue.

Will try and find out but the tyre shop that got them wont deal with me anymore after a disagreement we had over damaged property and a very bad (dangerous) wheel alignment.. Good chance they were the same brand.

I have given the hats hell though so I don’t feel completely unto blame.

Any idea what brand they were?. Just got some OEM Sachs-Boge ones for $120 a pair from states

They were not Sachs-Boge I can tell you that, I tried to get some of those. Might call them and order some.
