_Alan_ 6 Report post Posted June 27, 2009 (edited) Hi guys, Just want to thank Johno for landing me a set of Alpina replica wheels for my E30.. Despite the hiccups he persevered with another order! This SA 325i has been in the bimmersport family, previous owners are Martyn and Paul. Since buying it I have converted it to manual, got an iS lip (just mocked up at the moment needs a bit of work). Mods in the future will be getting the most out of the b25 engine, exractors, chip? Whatever I can get my hands on. Couple of photo's for now. Let me know what you guys think. Oh and Martyn, sorry they are not genuine alpina's and your europlate is in the boot. I don't want to risk a fine! Cheers Alan Edited July 8, 2009 by _Alan_

martyyn 2 Report post Posted June 27, 2009 (edited) Nice one Alan. Ill have to dig out the pics when I had it with the genuine Alpinas and is lip Ive got an Alpina rear wing here if you want to spend some more pennies Not sure why is looks so high in the front it sat alot lower on the 16's, perhaps its just the angle of the photo Edited June 27, 2009 by Penry

_Alan_ 6 Report post Posted June 27, 2009 Thanks guys, I understand the wheels aren't everyones cup of tea. 15's and 16's are definitely the ideal size for an E30.. But for a daily that I don't intend to take to the track, these 17's suit me just fine Martyn's upgraded the suspension at some stage so the ride is pretty good. Mark, we should have a photoshoot sometime! Would love to hear ur freshly built up engine

crazyarab 6 Report post Posted June 28, 2009 (edited) Oh crap! I just realized you are in Christchurch.. Guess I won't be the only one rolling with the ol Alpina shoes (when I eventually find that darn E30). Looks sweet mate, but I am bias considering I have them sitting in the garage.
