here are some photos of my project for the bmw open class.hope to be ready for the start in sep,the little jobs seem to take the longest

eng m62 4.4

steel case toyota box

z3 torson lsd

brembo evo8 brakes

factory ecu for now

dry sump

need a couple of test days to see if its all going to stay together

used m62 auto bell housing bolted to sandwich plate

just std atm extractors free it up abit

about 300 hp ? need a re map and dyno,should be reliable kept close to std,may look at the endurance stuff coming up 12 hr etc

Should pull 300hp fairly easily id imagine? Or are you running the factory computer as well?

Reliability is definitely most important in that type of racing

Very nice.

Would like to know more about how you got on with the ECU etc.

about 10 hours frigging around once i got wiring diagrams,the early ews seems easier to fool than the later type,i had the key chip and ews unit to run the ecu

mind you a spoiler that big you'll need to get clearance from the Auckland airport before hitting the back straight at Puke.
