martyyn 2 Report post Posted August 2, 2009 Id be very surprised if those caps fitted the 17' reps fellas, they are for the genuine 16's. From what I remember of the reps they dont have the inner lip that the lock fits around and so these wont fit.

crazyarab 6 Report post Posted August 3, 2009 (edited) Bit of a difference from the M3 though ay Yeh, this is more fun to drive lol It's like a go cart, you really have a connection with the road driving an E30. Just so much more "raw" than the E36 which is a more balanced, comfortable ride. When I first gave it stick, I was actually pleasantly surprised with the power, feels so much quicker than I expected. I will certainly miss smoking high end Japanese turbos and keeping up with the big guns around Ruapuna though Edited August 3, 2009 by crazyarab
mr E34 11 Report post Posted August 3, 2009 Bet you are rapt with that purchase, fantastic looking car! MTech 2 is a stunner, 20yrs old & still shows up other cars. Some people reckon 16" Alpina's look better on the E30, look around & judge for yourself? The only thing i would do is fit a MTech2 steering wheel in either leather/suede with Tri-colour stiching & matching gear knob.(again must have Tri-colour stitching) Gear selection cap on knob top would have again Tri-colour emblem but not the centre M...just my opinion, which doesn't mean much on this forum..... Hi-Tek 3 Report post Posted August 5, 2009 M-Tech II off the Evo3? Alot lol ($475USD), but I am actually seriously considering it Pretty soon I am going to be as broke as an alcoholic uni student. You'd be better to keep an eye on trademe for a leather M-Tech II for a couple of hundred and have it re upholstered in Alcantara (same as the Sport Evos had) It's a bummer as I just sold my M-Tech II for someting better I reckon, will post pics soon.
