E30 Exhaust options and prices

Recommended Posts

So slowly dealing to my to-do list and after brakes is the exhaust, so what size is reccommended for a 325i? single pipe, or twin system like factory?

what have people typically paid for a full exhaust?

I just want a nice one that doesn't choke the car and sounds good!

opinions and feedback appreciated

Cheers,

Andrew

I paid $450 for a full 2.5" exhaust with a 14" long resonator in the middle. That was from turbo back though, Would be alot cheaper I'd imagine without having to make a dump pipe etc.

2.5 twin into twin inlet outlet centre muffler twin 2.5 to twin inlet out let 2.5 at rear. Most of the restriction is in the squashed rear section, you can build a less restrictive system without increasing noise.

Should run you $350-400.

Also, your exhaust is only as big as its smallest point.

Als Mufflers do great work. Know their stuff and will design a system to your requirements that will increase performance, not just make more noise.

Expect to pay $500-600 depending on the choice of muffler. More if you want wayney or similar headers.
