Help Urgently required for my E30 Please

can anyone please tell me the torque settings for the pressure plate bolts and the flywheel bolts for my 1988 320i E30 Bmw.

Flywheel 98-112 Nm with sealant or blue loctite on the clean threads

Clutch cover M6 24 Nm (6mm Bolts)..... M8 34Nm (8mm Bolts)

that was pretty quick man... my engine is a m20... just converting my car to a manual

Spigot bearing... try Brake & Trans...about $12

He knows it's an m20.

M6/M8 is the bolt size specification (6mm and 8mm shanks on the bolts respectively. Should be stamped into the bolt heads, otherwise measure.)

Make sure you have the bearing in there.. And you bang it all the way in, Some people just tap it in a little bit but it is meant to go all the way in (Get a socket that matches the outer race of the bearing and tap it in, don't force it in with the inner race).

The next question is probably going to be .....How do I line up the clutch plate

With a clutch alignment tool or a screw driver...... you need a good eye to do that

M6= 6mm bolts

M8= 8mm bolts

we use to have fun with the new guys and drilling holes for m8 and m10 bolts... so many would drill a 8 or 10mm hole... then wonder why the bolt didn't properly.

I have always done mine by eye, Done it so many times I am pretty good at it lol. 1st time I used a plastic clutch alignment tool, They aren't that great to use.

I found the plastic one better than my $80 one! No effing about getting the right spigot and so on. I keep a plastic one in my tool box and glare at my expensive alignment tool hoping one day that I'll need to use it before it rusts.

If you have a lathe handy..you can whip one up using a piece of broom handle or dowel

those plastic ones are very handy, eyeometer has always worked for me too though

Plastic ones are good. I think they sometimes come with the clutch kit.
