ANYONE IN AUCKLAND HAVE A TOW ROPE?

Does anyone in auckland have a good towrope i can borrow asap? my dad cracked his sump in the e36 in whangamata and ill need to tow him back if the temperary fix doesnt work.

im in east auckland, so the closer the better.

I've got a few container straps, I've repeatedly used them to tow cars and hoist an engine out of a car, they're the sort of straps they use to tie things down on the backs of trucks etc.

If you have a towbar you would be better off getting a trailer for that distance.

and your going to have to mes around disengaauging th drive shaft for that distance (if my geography doesnt fail me)

And you can only legally tow at 50km/h max on a tow rope now..

thanks for the help guys. the towrope we got was a thick f***er and did the job. towd by my uncles ute. got the e36 home at 130am

did disconect the driveshaft from the diff and tied it up to the exhaust.

sump guard for an e36? are they a factory item? thanks guys.
