SIR E30 68 Report post Posted February 24, 2010 So another E30 found its way into the driveway. Its a stock-as-a-rock 320i auto 4door. Ill use it for general driving around town and to work so I can keep the Touring garaged during the week and only use it for special occasions. Preservation! Its not perfect, so Ill be quite happy to take it to the shops to collect dents and I wont mind leaving it unattended at night. Was a bit of a shambles when I picked it up, but Ive sorted it out.. I hope! 90% of the trim is still intact and most of the electrics work. Its not much to look at, but heres some photos that show what it looked like when I got it, and what it looked like after a day-long session in the shed. In regards to the stacker, I wouldnt have a clue how its wired in. I didnt do it, and I havent investigated. I can check it out for you if you like. GRRR Poor wee car had a minor breakdown last week, Waterpump died! So its time for a waterpump/cambelt/thermostat etc etc. Pulled it apart yesterday to find the waterpump in a state of utter "f***edness" So its service time....
