deeveus 81 Report post Posted March 30, 2010 that's a nice big cat right there.. no meow.. more like ROAR!! what baffles me is: why do cars, still have tapes??.... Ha yeah, mine does behind the screen. I'd never use it & even though it's 5 years old I can't imagine anyone using it back then either :S
Apex 693 Report post Posted March 30, 2010 that's a nice big cat right there.. no meow.. more like ROAR!! what baffles me is: why do cars, still have tapes??.... It is 2010 not 2000, cars no longer have tape decks. Jag have come a long way since those days, a long long way.
Greg111 13 Report post Posted March 30, 2010 Seriously cool! Those V8s on their own go very well, with the supercharger it must be epic.

[email protected] 0 Report post Posted April 1, 2010 Neither is the up keep. I know a guy with one, he loves it and thinks its worth it but says you need a good cash fund on the side for it. Apparently when he looked into buying one he discovered they have catastrophic failure if the timing belt breaks, needing an entire engine replacement. But he found a good one and has loved it since. jjs 64 Report post Posted April 2, 2010 The supercharged 4.0 is second to none when it comes to fuel consumption! Lovely car, but make sure you invest in a bullet proof warranty.

deeveus 81 Report post Posted April 2, 2010 Who cares about fuel economy when it comes to weekend/second cars. Certainly not this kid IF it's only a weekend car. My last car (GTS) was my daily and I can report that they don't do 15l / 100km as quoted combined, add another 5-7 - that with doing up to 1000km a week gets very boring on your fuel bill at the 20th of the month! I'm filling up every 2nd week at the moment (unless we go abroad) and it costs me $100 !!! & around town I get about 800-900km
Driftit 2078 Report post Posted April 2, 2010 (edited) Dad has a 97 XK8 Vert. He loves it. Wanted a E-Type but just doesn't have the time to spend on keeping one going. This was the next best thing. Its only done 30,000odd kms. Weekend car. Problems he has had with it. Flat battery a few times RR brake light bulb Car is great fun for spading chicks. Owned since 2000 I think. deeveus 81 Report post Posted April 3, 2010 Car is great fun for spading chicks. Good fluff magnet eh? I'm a married man and all but when I owned my Porsche Boxster (womans car ) - lets just say it would have been easier to find a mating partner should I be out of wedlock.
