39KiwiTouring 2 Report post Posted April 15, 2010 Linky below, I think the owner of this car is a member on here. Thought it sounds quite rear if it's the case, if anyone from out of town buys these x 3 cars PM and I can give you a hand at loading them on your tow vehicle etc. Curious to know if it is that rear the 84 E28 Alipna? http://www.trademe.co.nz/Browse/Listing.aspx?id=284050980

dirtydoogle 383 Report post Posted April 15, 2010 Seems to be like the twit I sold the E12 to. He had a F/L E12 with a "3.0 CSI' motor with a "hot cam". I had a peek, it was a dirty old manky rusty E12 [Mine was perfect in the body once I had finished] with a Carbied M30. Fail....
Silver Fox 43 Report post Posted April 15, 2010 Alpina only did the E28 conversions on the M30 powered cars, according to their register they never touched the E28 520i. Another fantasy car.

ssbmw 220 Report post Posted April 16, 2010 Hi there, there is a genuine 1984 E28 Alpina B9 that I know of. Like a Lachs silver or Polaris, not sure. Blue cloth interior. Interestingly enough, not a UK Sytner vehicle, evidently manufactured specifically on order for the NZ market. 245 BHP. Very rare- only like 65 Alpina E28 B9's in RHD. HAs like 250 kms. I think it may still be available for sale. Contact me if you want the owner's details. A fun car!
deeveus 81 Report post Posted April 16, 2010 That guy wasted his batteries on his camera when he took those pics. That car is horribad & looks like something poking out of my wheely bin on collection day.
