CarFolie 14 Report post Posted April 19, 2010 Welcome to Bimmersport. Hope you enjoyed the 3.am pies at BP Dairy Flat the other night. Sup man. My mate told me the pies were good there at Silverdale BP. He made me drive all the way up there just for a bloody pie! BTW the pies weren't so great though, they were soggy. It was good meeting you guys tho How'd you go with towing the car back home?
CarFolie 14 Report post Posted April 19, 2010 Choice car. What colour is that? Welcome. The colour's called Indianapolis Red. It's not a common colour. I have seen some M5's and newer 7 series in the same colour. It's a cool colour that I never get sick of. The depth of the colors is quite amazing. Hints of orange and burgundy. Motor destruction seems to be a regular pastime for them.

ssbmw 220 Report post Posted April 19, 2010 Hi mate, That is a beautiful car. Fantastic to see that you have the colour that BMW had with all their initial promotional photos of the M6 when it came out. Even the promo car in NZ was Indy red. Sadly most of the m6 buyers in NZ and Australia seem to have ordered black! How many do you think there are in NZ in this colour? The colour I also like is Interlagos blue. There was a fabulous example with white leather that I'd see in East Tamaki regularly 3-4 years ago. Welcome to the Bimmersport community! My goal is to get one of these over the next few years. I love them!

I love them! Thanks for the compliment! Interlagos blue is a beautiful colour. I have seen a few Inter' blue M6's but none with white interior! The dealer told me that I'm one of 4 owners with Indy red M6. 2 of which are in Auckland.

CarFolie 14 Report post Posted April 20, 2010 are you the guy we met at the bp station on saterday/sunday morning lol and my e30 was blown up ? I sure am the guy you met at the Silverdale BP. Yup, the guy having a pie at 3am in the morning. Drove all the way up there from Takapuna just for a pie, just because my mate told me Silverdale pies are better. Turned out that pies down here are heaps better though....
