SIR E30 68 Report post Posted May 1, 2010 sh*t hot! I do like the clean look normally, but youve pulled it off!
tire 10 Report post Posted May 1, 2010 Yep I like it, but you should move the hose out the way next time
pjay 8 Report post Posted May 1, 2010 It's not for permanent, just on loan from Mr Gibbens. Here's how I got the plate like that:
Mark 178 Report post Posted May 1, 2010 IMHO, I see where you're going but rest of the car is too clean to pull off rusty bonnet. Also, two number plates looks weird. What's the green stuff? Shoelaces?
pjay 8 Report post Posted May 1, 2010 It's not permanent, and it's nothing close to what I'm going for. Still totally going to source a coupe bonnet and rust my own too. And a front quarter panel too. Yup, they are shoelaces. Cheers Sven for the idea, (he's my driver).
Apex 693 Report post Posted May 1, 2010 Looks funny. Black wheels would set it off

Guest Ari Gold Report post Posted May 1, 2010 Should probably get that rust attended to before it gets out of control.

3 SERIES 93 Report post Posted May 1, 2010 (edited) horrible, horrible, horrible. IMO it looks terrible. Rusty bonnet looks nun good on a red car. Your car is sh*t hot as it is! Be a leader, not a follower... Edited May 1, 2010 by 3 SERIES

Cale 36 Report post Posted May 2, 2010 Can't say I'm feeling it either. Maybe the rusty bonnet needs to be on a dark car so it has more contrast. Rest of your car is ftw!

pjay 8 Report post Posted May 3, 2010 Thanks for the feedback guys, It never was going to be permanent. Just borrowed off Jason for the Weekend, but I still want to buy and rust my own bonnet and some front quarter panels for my dressing up pleasure. I think it does the exact job it was intended to do. antil33t 90 Report post Posted May 3, 2010 You need some rusty steelies to go with the bonnet too.
pjay 8 Report post Posted May 3, 2010 I'm thinking the rust thing will work awesome with either a) really bright rims, or really shiny dished rims. But I'll explore that soon enough.
