|ncary 0 Report post Posted July 15, 2010 85ish Honda City, in burgandy. $10 fuel would last a lifetime. 82ish Mazda 323 Wagon, RWD. What a heap, got it for free. Sold it to some guy with huge rotor-powered plans for $70. 90 Toyota Corona 1.8. Blew all 4 shocks in one day in Wanaka. The drive back to Chch was very entertaining with 5 bikes, 3 people and gear on/in it. 91 Toyota Camry Wagon. Legend 2litre toyota power. Used 6mm of tread doing a burnout one evening to just see if it could, can still see the 2 deep holes in the tarmac at the north-east corner of the Arts carpark at uni here. Ended up spewing it's gearbox in tiny bits over an intersection. Funny that. 84 BMW 323i. Bought it cheap and boy-racered. Fun car. Got rear ended at 60kph. Ouch. 87 M325i. Shady 0 Report post Posted July 15, 2010 (edited) When 15, (no licence) bought a '89 Honda Civic (the ugly flat hatchback ones). Paid $500 - used to just drive it around (I taught myself the roads rules) never got pulled up even though all I did was FWD skids lol (Neutral drops) then one day snapped the cambelt, got it towed home & sold for $200! Then from there:- Mitsubishi Mirage Manual (old POS). N14 Nissan Pulsar X1R 1600 Auto (this is the car I lost my licence in). Had a few Motorbikes & Scooters while I had no Licence. E30 BMW 318i Auto (one I got now) - swapped it for the Pulsar. Also own a '95 Ford Probe GT (project) & '95 Honda Inspire (project) - go laugh cos dont worry, no effect. bravo 35 Report post Posted July 16, 2010 These threads are usually boring, but I'm digging the pics idea. Don't have pics of them all, so some of these are from google: White 1979 MkII Ford Escort van exactly the same as Nathan's (learnt to drive in it). Number plate KE101 since been written off by someone else. Stole your pic Nathan. "Morning Mist" (aka metallic poo-brown) 1981 Mitsubishi Mirage hatchback with the economy select drive. Sold it for more than I paid for it. 1979 Vauxhall Chevette Sedan, also in poo-brown. 1991 Honda Civic Sedan White 1987 Holden Commodore VK 3.3L injected in-line 6cyl Suzuki GT 250 - by the time I sold it, it had developed a nasty piston slap and the exhaust baffles kept coking up. Otherwise, not a terrible bike for an old city cruiser. 1995 Mitsubishi Lancer GLXI 1995 Nissan Navara single cab ute 1989 BMW e30 320i (pics to come) 1990 Supercharged BMW e30 325i 1991 Toyota SW20 MR2 Daihatsu Rugger 2010 Mazda BT50 (company car, but it gets more use than my other 3 vehicles)

tire 10 Report post Posted July 16, 2010 First was dudlee when I was 15. pfl 318i manual. Just sold it a month ago: Then this clean fl 318i manual coupe. Wrote it off in Aus after only having it a couple of months: After the 318i came this 1983 323i auto: I converted it to manual and did a heap of other work to it. It wasn't perfect but it was still pretty cool, and I sold it for a 4 figure profit. And now I have the touring, which looked like this a couple of months ago but is changing! After all these E30s I think my next car will be a volksy.
