Im still at school so the car isnt driven to much but dont want to spend to much more on gas. 323 325 328 What do you guys think? Looking at Marks 328I ATM All things being equal which they definately are not, a well maintained and cared for 328i is hard to beat. BUT, and its a big BUT, if you are keen on 'doin her up' try to get a motorsport if thats your thing. Getting one up to spec is not worth it in the end. If you can get one with all of the major stuff done like shocks, radiator, waterpump, thermo, ball joints, etc etc, I could go on, but the more done the less you have to do regardless of which one you choose. Wom 0 Report post Posted July 21, 2010 my 323i does 550kms on a 65 litre tank (750kms on solely open road driving) I use VPower, a full tank at the moment is approx $115 performance - it's 20hp less than a 325i or 328i, so won't keep up with them but I like it because it's a good mix between power and economy hope that helps Quote Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

BM WORLD 1283 Report post Posted July 21, 2010 i had a 92 325i with 3.15 diff and lightish m20 flywheel had 112kw at the wheels at 6000rpm chipped ecu with 240k's on the clock / i now have 96 328i with same diff , extractors , std ecu same sort of flywheel and has 111.8kw at 5200rpm with 101k on the clock . 328i is annoying on the track as the power just stops at 5200rpm(will rev beyond but no point) where as the 325i used to pull all the way to 6000rpm . but i like the better torque of the 328i for driving around town etc and plan on remapping the ecu to get rid of the power limiter etc . 328i gets better fuel ecno too. we will have a nice 325i coupe ready at work for sale soon 1995 model with 130k on the clock and tidy .
