What needs replacing on your car?

Thought it would be a laugh to see what needs replacing on everyones BMW's. Just a list of things you would like to replace or maybe that you need to replace and plan to do so. Just realistic things that you could do in a few days if you had the time and money you needed right now. Should be a good read.

I will leave out my race car as that needs around half a car at the moment. So here is what I need and want for my E39 540.

Need

Rear Right wheel bearing is noisy as heck.

Heater control valve as the passenger side is stuck full hot.

Drive shaft hanger bearing from all that towing.

New cam cover gaskets

New shocks

New tyres

Want

Damage on Rear Right repaired

Paint on Bonnet and boot done

Front and rear bumpers painted

Wheels repainted

Tinted windows (getting on Thursday)

Few of the door seals are getting a bit on in life

But other than that she goes well. lol

Heh, back when I had 3 E30s I got a whiteboard cause I couldn't remember all the stuff. They are cheap as on trademe and are incredibly useful! Now its pretty much just the touring:

Needs:

Tappets adjusting

wheel wobble curing (bearing?)

seats cleaned

front of engine oil leak fixed

Wants:

all the small nicks and dents fixing

to be driven more!

Oil & Filter.

Diff Seals & O-Rings.

Paint.

Suspension Overhaul.

Minor Rust.

Get Reverse Lights working.

Rear Spring Pads.

Window Tints.

Put new bonnet on.

Get carpet dried & shampooed (maybe uplift and look for rust).

Get engine & bay steam cleaned/soda blasted.

List goes on...

headling sagging,drivers door card delaminating,heater control variable,sword.i think heater needs new valves,and the aux pump is shot.must remenber i have had car 8 years and it now 20 yrs old

Clunk coming from front right hand side lower outer tie rod I suspect. Also broken seat panel the side ones on E39 bad design destined to break, rear cup holder, and tool kit few small dent man dings, punctured tyre repaired other than that running mint.

Black e30s X 2 - strip & sell to recoup some dough
