Need:

Swap the started out in the M20

Want:

To pull the whole underside of the coupe apart and replace / upgrade bushes etc

Respray front Valance on coupe

Adjust / refiberglass rear valance on coupe

New Interior / current carpets pulled out and overhalled

325i engine taken out and overhalled in the sedan

Manual gearbox in the sedan tightened up

325 engine swapped into the Coupe and the 318 swapped into the Sedan with all related items

Engine bays in both cars cleaned out

I fear this list is already far too short

Whiteboard in garage is a must - if you are really cheap, grab an old fridge door from the dump and hang it on the wall. We have a sparky in the family, so old fridges get put to good use - chilly bins for on the deck, chuck a padlock on one and you've got yourself a great, solid cabinet, toolbox, gun locker, etc.

Things to do on the e30? It'd possibly be easier to say that the gearknob is perfect, and the rest needs work? Seriously though, when your car is your hobby it's never finished and there's always things to do. Right now mine is in winter hibernation, but some new paint and a minor oil leak round the tappet cover are the only things I've got planned for spring.

Yea the current one has been stripped and the shell is buggered so a complete new one would be the way to go I think.

Going to replace the subframe bushings, trailing arm bushings, carpet, few random screws/bolts, exhaust, rust holes fixed, normal diff for an lsd diff, drivers seat needs repairing.
