I say buy it, have not seen many but in term of emasculating other road users these do a good job, I remember sitting at the lights next to one years ago in my boy racer car and giving the driver an ear full of Remus, he didn’t even acknowledge me but as soon at that light turned green the behemoth of a wagon was a dot in the distance, couldn’t believe something of that size could accelerate from a stand still so quick Quote Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

Means I'd have to get a cheap BMW Diesel for a run around, fuel costs on that RS6 would make any grown man cry if you used it as a daily I'd say. Apex 693 Report post Posted September 2, 2010 245kw and 450nm off the top of my head, 0-100 low sixes and electronically limited to 250kph, can verify that, we had one for a few months and loved it, they are big car but drive a whole lot smaller than they look, performance wise the only problem was a lack of traction with the driver aids turned off, it really needs a LSD. I drove one next to a HSV with 317kw and whilst down on power, in terms of usable performance it’s a much better car. This one has a brand new clutch and a few other brand new goodies and I have on good authority that it has had near 10k recently spent at BMW. Only downer for me is the horrid wheels and the slightly ambitious asking price, I know a SMG touring is rare but its been on their books for three months, given it was a 550i I think it could justify that price but realistically it’s a $50-55k car IMO.
