Jamez 2147483647 Report post Posted November 28, 2010 Sooooo as a few of you know April and I recently bought a 850i, Have done a few minor things like get new wheels and front lip (also get rid of the fart cannons) and fix a few electrical problems with a few more odd jobs to go. Also pictured is my old mans V12 jag. It is inferior in every respect except it seems to rev a lot more down low. So here it is so far....

cytamen 1 Report post Posted November 28, 2010 That 8-series looks a million times better than when it had those horrible stock wheels! Sure it sounds a lot calmer than with those huge cannons too.

I have sworn & cursed at many Pommy cars over the years (as I have all others too) but not all are bad - there are some classic cars to have come out of that country, & some crap! I know you didn't buy it to be economical , but is it manageable enough that you can use it for what ever you want? Well, petrol .....40L/100km is my highscore with 10.2L/100km being my best to date. Sits on about 18L/100km with town driving. I'm yet to pay for anyone to work on it yet but parts are cheap if you know people in the states with wrecks, going to be making a big order of random parts and Bili's soon, if anyone else with an 8 is looking for parts give me pm and I'll see if I can get it. Also, don't bother buying new parts for 8's, I looked into getting a piece of outside trim for the roof (a long piece of flat metal about 1m long and 2cm wide) BMW NZ want $900,
