M5V8 337 Report post Posted February 7, 2011 i so doubt it can accel at 1.2 secs... would not have traction agreed! even F1 cars with launch control would struggle to make that figure. All the data on this car seems to be theoretical.

E30-323ti 66 Report post Posted February 9, 2011 i so doubt it can accel at 1.2 secs... would not have traction Who needs traction when you can chuck a couple of JATO's behind the license plate.... M5V8 337 Report post Posted February 9, 2011 A top fuel dragster accelerates from a standstill to 100 mph (160 km/h) in as little as 0.7 seconds A top fuel drag cars also run on a VHT prepared dragstrip using purpose made tyres to gain that traction, not to mention diff, gearbox etc, etc, etc... It is beautiful never the less.

M5V8 337 Report post Posted February 9, 2011 no one said they didn't do the testing on a prep'd track with drag tyres...no-one said that they have even built one. all their stated "facts" are "goals".those are all digital renders. Haven't built one, haven't tested one. M5V8 337 Report post Posted February 9, 2011 I honestly hope they build this thing and it is that fast. But it wouldn't be the first supercar to have it's performance exaggerated to boost interest.
