E36 M 9 Report post Posted December 5, 2011 Italy will be happy, now they got more work, to build an extra few ferraris Should be a law in New Zealand, the driver who caused it gets either a heafty fine or 3 months jail!
E30 325i Rag-Top 2957 Report post Posted December 5, 2011 This story is all over the interwebs now, funny how it seems to be concentrating on the fact that the crash involved eight Ferraris and 3 Mercs, rather than how badly any people were hurt. Worse crashes, in terms of human fatalities, occur every day around the world but are not reported to the same level. Says a lot about the world today, sad. Greg111 13 Report post Posted December 6, 2011 Because 8 Ferraris don't usually crash at the same time into each other.
1rotty 40 Report post Posted December 6, 2011 The guy that caused it wont be too popular with his mates but he'll probably score a free Ferrarri lol
Allanw 1071 Report post Posted December 6, 2011 My Wifes cousin was on a Ferrari club event in Italy a few years back. He was doing about 220km/h when he came upon some flashing lights. Another member had been travelling at 300km/h and had a tyre blow! He didn't hit anything, but the tyre destroyed the rear corner of the car. He's a LOT more wary of speed now (Cancelled the order for his new FF too )

Yeah , sorry , didn't mean to undermine people that may have been hurt , but that's a lot of eye candy cars that are wreacked. Probably should have posted something like this clown ..... I was more talking about how it's been reported on things like the BBC covering it.Found a translated version of the news report which talks about some of the drivers going to hospital, but no-one seriously hurt.
