Daily E30 Project

Recommended Posts

Hey Guys, if you've been lurking around Bimmersport lately

I've recently come back into the scene and have purchased myself a 1988 FL E30 320i Coupe.

Couldnt really turn down the deal to be the 2nd owner in NZ and having the previous owner own it from basically brand new, even though she's auto, things can and will be changed!

Here's a quick couple pictures of her when i picked it up!

And just a couple of mandatory modifications, to make it feel more like my own car:

Red Tail-Lights

and the ever famous compulsary Bimmersport sticker

Thanks for having a quick look, hope to update this regularly, so check back for updates!

Cheers,

Drew

nothing fancy, looks cool and goes with my underlying theme 'Country Club Stance'

I'll leave you to your imaginations on how its going to look!

Hey guys,

another quick update! sorry about the picture heavy thread I just hate going onto a thread like this on any forum and there being next to no pictures!! also doing it for a personal record of my car B) and its progress!

Just did a touch up job today, factory black plastic wing mirrors were really faded so gave them a light sand then a coat of primer, another quick light sand and then the final coat of primer

Posted Image

managed to persuade Dad to let me spray in the garage

Posted Image

next up came the 2 coats of matte black to keep the factory look

Rather pleased with the final result!

and a sneaky picture of the beast chucked in too ;)

Drew

This thread is all about photos. My personal preference would have been white mirrors, factory or not.

P.S You need some rims, black steels look rude!

Yup, agree.

Also, FYI three screws & a two minute job to remove the mirrors. Quicker than the time to mask <_<

thats the plan!

the plan is to eventually do the white mirrors, but just tidying her up before proper modification starts!

and yes the steels are rude but just waiting for some funds and the right wheels to come along!

Yup, agree.

 thats annoying haha to be honest didnt really look to hard just got stuck into the masking straight away

but thanks for the tips!
