Guest Victor520 Report post Posted October 12, 2012 Agonising Issues - Help Well after my X5 being into 2 garages, car is still lumpy, hesitant under load. History 1) Vehicle has had compression test and coil packs tested and comes back nothing 2) Under different diagnostics comes up with issues under random banks Changed the Gearbox oil Then after that the Battery light came on, so changed the alternator, to find the battery light still on. The car is charging fine and the alternator works fine. However the battery light stays on. Battery has been changed for a new one....and battery light stays on. Unfortunately I do not have the money to keep throwing at it. So the problems at the moment are 1) Battery light continuously on. 2) Hesitant and missing under load. Options Thinking of fixing - if anyone can offer any advice. Selling as is and selling at a huge loss. Thoughts anyone?, just do not know what to do..love the car.....but...after months of issues......I give up ..nearly... Thanks
hotwire 352 Report post Posted October 12, 2012 Sound as like you need to get it checked by someone who knows what they are doing! Also sounds like you (or someone) are just throwing random parts at it. Adding to, if you buy a complex vehicle like this - factor in spare cash to fix problems that arise - as they always do. deeveus 81 Report post Posted October 12, 2012 Sweet! First time poster! I can almost guarantee that it wasn't checked at a BMW dealership? Or at least a reputable BMW repair?
Lucan 196 Report post Posted October 12, 2012 Where do you live, the general area not your physical address, someone can be recommended if this info is shared.
jeffbebe 1559 Report post Posted October 12, 2012 ^ +1 Lucan. Tell the folks on here what are you're in. They'll be able to recommend the best local BMW specialists. Then get the fault codes scanned properly so they can assess what the real issues are.

CSET 583 Report post Posted October 16, 2012 (edited) Being Chinese is he sure he didn't mean the Shuanghuan CEO ? Yikes, what a shameless ripoff! Even the photo looks bung. Front and rear wheels different (or turning different speeds?), the ride imbalance between left and right (look at how close to the body the left rear wheel is), and whats up with the 2 layer shadow behind the front right wheel? I could do better in MS Paint. Edited October 16, 2012 by CSET
dubman 39 Report post Posted October 16, 2012 lol....if all these posts were actually legit, someone should open up an independent BMW workshop in China and make a killing haha At least their spelling's getting better
