allan 295 Report post Posted October 15, 2012 Have to get something similar done to and was quoted around $350 that was shorten and re-balance from a Palmy Nth company. Have been advised that the BMW shafts are fusion welded not like other which are only just welded this can be a bit of a hassle. Something to do with not having a boss on the joint end to re -attach the shaft and needs to be sleeved but best of luck let us know which way you decide to go.. bmw335i 16 Report post Posted October 18, 2012 Have you checked the rubber that comes off the gbox and bolts up to the driveshaft? Ive also seen the center hanger bearing/rubber part. new on trademe for like $90?
Nobimmer 694 Report post Posted October 19, 2012 I found ADL and Driveshaft specialists a bit dare. The best bang for buck I found was with Beatty's driveshaft centre, mind you that was for lengthening and balancing.
