Haha yeah it's pretty much like that with the stock engine management

It will be interesting to see what yours dynos in at... manual, link, Id expect 175rwkw+ if you also run good headers.

What are you doing for exhaust manifolds?

it will be

*standard motor

*factory headers

*2x 2.5" in to single 3" no cats 1 high flow muffler.

*k&n filter

*link ecu

*the only think driven of the motor is the ALT

* 5 speed manual.

and being realistic mate im want at least 200hp at the rears.

just had a quick flick threw the blog......I would be very happy with 196rwkw.

what has been done to the motor and do you have a video of the dyno runs?

Sounds good Dan.

While you already know this, the headers will hold you back a good ~10rwkw, stock ones are pretty diabolical, especially up top you will feel that 'strangled' feeling.

I've just done headers, and a cold air intake, dialed in 150 rwkw at the dyno so just over that 200hp mark which was about what I guessed.

A tune will sort the typical toyota overfueling up top which my run showed nicely on the a/f ratio. Max power on a stock engine? Who knows..

What did the LINK ecu set you back?

yeah the only reason I havnt done headers yet is im waiting to see what it like as im still thinking about a single turbo down the line so will make headers then..

that's why im doing single exhaust and a link ecu now.

as or the link its a linkplus g3 its been all checked out and came with new loom and usb serial link $700 on tardme.

ive been looking for agers and they pop up now and then.but this was ready to go.

Motor was bog standard other than the headers they made to make it fit. AJ got bored of the car and sold it on a quite a while ago. Was just a muck around project for the workshop boys so not a lot of money was spent.

Wires.. wires everywhere!

Are you running new wires or just re running the old ones from the stock loom to the ECU?
