E36 > E46

Recommended Posts

Last month, we had a mini meet with a few friends and Marty came along and was kind enough to bring his camera for a few shots. Weather was shitty as but we did the best we could.

Couple of iPhone pics in there, sorry for their shitty quality! And I believe there is more to come...

As usual all C&C welcome... I think...

Nice pics, just needs more contrast and colour depth, they're all a bit washed out. (instagram generation). Otherwise nice work. I like that last pic.... be great with a bit of post processing.

Haha I wish I knew how to edit pics... I did try snapping a few but the camera had too many settings  Funny you picked one of the iPhone pics lol

Loving the car! Nice taste in styling. :)

Indeed, Joji Nagashima/Claus Luthe did a good job all those years ago.

Nearly there. I have everything except a black coupe carpet to do the black swap over. Not easy to come across!

Heaps on fleabay. Most will deliver internationally pretty reasonably if you ask nicely: http://www.ebay.co.uk/sch/i.html?_odkw=flo...pe&_sacat=0

I bought a set for around $100 including shipping with leather trim for my E39.

Cheers Julian. Will probably need to do exactly that as Team McMillan haven't got back to me. But to do my swap I'm waiting on the actual carpet under the mats. Figure it will be a bit weird with everything black and a grey carpet then black mats on top of that haha. Seems impossible to source in Auckland atm!

Does seem weird... You'd think most auto trimmers would stock black carpet or is it a particular kind that you need?

dye it??

True, dyeing grey to black should be pretty straightforward.

I've just dyed my E30 carpet to black, I found it very frustrating <_<

I figure to keep costs down and also to have a stock look to it, it would be easiest to find an OEM carpet off another car? Proving very hard as it usually gets thrown out haha.

dye it??

Hmmm, do you mean the spray can dye? Did it on a mates e30 and it came out decent, a bit rougher but after a few months it did show wear.

We did my mates car with relative ease. It is the wear factor that bothers me haha.

Professional Photography, good cars, really like the purple E36, seen it on a mag cover before 2

Yeah good joke coming from the 328i owner! Heard its VTEC kick in yet?
