AN E30 Fan 1 Report post Posted April 28, 2013 Was emailed this from a friend in the Uk http://www.imperials.co.uk/used/2011/BMW/M...or-sale-SB11LZW Great colour and under 60 grand for 2 year old car. Would probably have it landed here for less than 65.

AN E30 Fan 1 Report post Posted April 28, 2013 VAT is excluded when shipping it overseas, provided the car leaves the country 6 months after the purchase date. So yes you are missing something. Meaning it costs 30,829 = $56,000 plus shipping and compliance therefore equals about 65 grand
E30 325i Rag-Top 2956 Report post Posted April 28, 2013 GST to pay on top of purchase price and shipping at 15% is roughly $9k, so not under 65k, but not far from it. Not sure I would be brave enough to drive an M3 in that colour, wheels look good though, could be interesting when it comes to trying to on sell it! deeveus 81 Report post Posted April 29, 2013 + storage fees for the six months, plus insurances for that plus the personalized plate you'd have to buy it: That colour kinda isn't too bad.
Allanw 1071 Report post Posted April 29, 2013 Awesome colour - Parrot-Screech Yellow :-) VAT is only taken off "VAT qualifying Cars" too I think - not all are, as it depends on the vehicles previous use.
